No, is's not AI generated... Humans did it.

Pick a color

Your eyes - your choice.

You don't like the badass* accent color? Okay. Feel free to change it with whatever you like. Friendly reminder - peach is NOT a color, but a delicious fruit. Change my mind.

*The hex code is literally #bada55. That's the only reason I chose it. Sorry, can't help it.
Default color: #bada55.

About

The story so far.

I can't help but be attracted to a good design. A meaningful logo, quality movie or a great video game. I just love visual stuff. The concept of creating something meaningful and usable out of a blank sheet of paper is utterly rewarding.

Work experience (in short):

Front-end lead at Buglab 2023 - 2024

A no-code visual testing platform aimed at test automation and optimization of websites and web apps.

As a technical lead, my job revolved around navigating the vision and course of the product and team:

  • led the technical team through the successful development of the product;
  • design and development of the platform and website UI/UX;
  • research and implementation of business decisions;
  • built and implemented design systems;
  • helped business development;
  • secured partnerships.

Frontend developer at AdHash 2018 - 2023 (Successful merge with DataChain Labs into Novum)

A complex advertising ecosystem focused on data transparency, reliability, and reporting. After the AdTrader exit, we embarked on yet another ad tech journey.

As a part of the core team for 8 years, I've been involved in the entire RnD and building of the AdHash web presence online including, but not limited to:

  • building, implementing, and scaling custom CSS and JS components throughout all touchpoints;
  • applicational blockchain research and development;
  • codebase optimizations and refactoring;
  • SVG and SVG animation;
  • web-based ad builder;
  • custom ad formats;
  • web development;
  • graphic design;
  • video editing;
  • web design.

Creative designer at AdTrader 2015 - 2019 (Successful exit)

AdTrader serviced for both SSPs and DSPs including creating and distributing custom ad campaigns through various technologies.

My experience started with a Domino's ad campaign animated in Flash. That campaign was the best-performing one for Domino's in Bulgaria. Consequently, I've produced hundreds of gigabytes of advertising materials using various technologies like:

  • custom HTML5 ads (before it was cool) with custom code and Google Web Designer (in beta back then);
  • started hating advertising (leading to the conception of AdHash with the team);
  • researched, expanded, and improved upon the used technologies;
  • Google retargeting campaigns;
  • static/image-based ads.

Graphic designer at MediaStart 2013 - 2015

A small marketing agency.

I was responsible for:

  • project-based client communication;
  • landing page images;
  • social media ads;
  • logo design;
  • branding.

Other (related) experience:

Photography and photo manipulation.

Video shooting and editing.

Music production.

Free time (if that even exists):

A total music junky. Headphones on. Off I go. My Spotify if you fancy.

I enjoy reading and watching videos on various science subjects.

If I can sneak up some me time - PlayStation.

Cooking is a great stress reliever.

A good conversation.

Let's talk

a.k.a. Contacts.

Feel free to drop me an email at yordannnenoff@gmail.com. I'll do my best to write back in a timely manner (24 hours classifies as timely for an email I believe).

I spend some time on LinkedIn every now and again. Will try to share monthly new code snippets on CodePen. Most projects I work on are company-owned and private, therefore my GitHub account looks painfully boring.

FAQ

Answers for some common questions.

Why web design and development?

I love it! That's why.

The ability to create a website, a brand, an app out of thin air is magical.

Building the vision and feel from an idea is the most rewarding and enjoyable process for me. Especially when everything comes together at the end.

How about frontend frameworks?

Currently improving my React knowledge.

Although most of the projects I work on don't directly benefit from frameworks, there is a lot to be gained under the right conditions.

Can you create a brand identity?

Short answer - Yes.

I've been tinkering with branding and identity for over a decade. From full on branding and identity kits to just a logo or a business card (yes, those still exist). I've done it all and I like it a lot.

Why the color picker and monospace type?

I wanted to add some sort of a customization. A UX choice if you will. Picking your favorite color for example. Hopefully it will be useful for visually impaired viewers too.

Some studies suggests that monospace fonts can helps dyslexic readers. It helps me. Let me know if it works for you. Oh, and I just like it.

What data are you collecting?

None. This website is entirely open sourced and hosted on GitHub. Check the repository here.

I have no way of knowing who you are, are you really here (are you?) or any other sort of information. There are no forms or any other way to input and send any information.
